Native of Los Angeles, Kathleen has led a successful career in marketing, sales and strategic negotiations across a range of interrelated, progressively advanced positions. Her knowledge of traditional and inline business models has leveraged her out-of-the-box thinking to her clients’ benefit. Her skills in negotiations and marketing have enabled her to grow business in truly evolving markets. Kathleen started her career in 1986 buying and selling homes, assisting friends with remodels, new construction, and landscaping properties in Southern California.
Kathleen began her private consulting practice, Playground Entertainment Marketing, serving a range of organizations that were seeking to launch, expand, diversify, or reorganize their sales departments in light of dramatically shifting market conditions and business models. With her background in marketing, advertising, and sales combined with her training and experiences in organizational development, Kathleen was uniquely qualified to evaluate, identify, and execute key strategies leading to desired results, including revitalizing entrenched cultures, introducing new products, identifying and implementing cost reduction strategies and increasing sales.
